THE PALACE'S 12TH ANNUAL GALA

We are thrilled to announce our Gala Artist, the award-winning country trio Lady A. Our Palace Gala is our number one fundraiser and as a non-profit, we depend on the generous donations of individuals, corporations, sponsorships, and foundations to uphold our Mission to Entertain, Enrich, and Educate the diverse population of the region and, in effect, help the economic vitality of Fairfield County. Our Gala is one of a kind with a wonderful pre-show cocktail dinner party, the concert with PREMIUM SEATING PER GALA TICKET, and more benefits – including a year Palace Membership at specified levels.

Our goal this year is to raise $200,000 for our Arts Education Program. This money is necessary to meet the demand of our community. TOGETHER we can provide arts education programming to under-resourced youth and award scholarships to those who might not otherwise be able to participate. This integral part of fulfilling our mission is something for which we rely on the vital support of our community. When you contribute to The Palace Theatre, you are investing in programs that positively impact social, emotional, and academic outcomes for youth, which enhances their quality of life. We offer educational opportunities to thousands of under-resourced youth each year through outreach programs, live performances, and intensives, as well as training in music, dance, theatre, and writing. These opportunities have a long-term impact – and many children who gain self-awareness, increased confidence, and experience positive teamwork are more likely to apply these learned skills to their lives.

During its 96-year history, The Palace Theatre has become an icon in Fairfield County’s arts and culture landscape. We are a provider of world-class entertainment and an advocate for youth who aspire to participate in the arts. In tandem, we can champion policies and practices of cultural equity that empower a just, inclusive, socially equitable, and cultural vitality of the entire region. The Palace Theatre provides a platform to celebrate unique cultures in our local community while being inclusive and representative of all people while we continue to strive and embrace all in our multi-cultural community.

Not only do our patrons and other non-profit community partners rely on us, but hundreds of under-resourced youth and teens do too.

Now more than ever, it is crucial to support these long-term benefits of Arts Education and the national focus of changing STEM education to STEAM education. The funds we receive from our Gala are essential to attain these goals. We truly hope we can depend on you as the community relies on us!

Arts Ovation Award Honoree Jodi Gutierrez
Jodi Gutierrez

Each year, The Palace presents its Arts Ovation Award to an individual or corporation that has demonstrated a commitment to the arts through philanthropic efforts and service to The Palace Theatre. Our honoree for this evening is Jodi Gutierrez. Jodi, who recently celebrated 30 years with commercial real estate firm George Comfort & Sons, is very active in the Stamford community -- both from an industry perspective, as well as a charitable one. During her long tenure as Vice President of Property Management, she has made it a priority to position the company as a valuable philanthropic corporate member in the communities in which she works. In addition to The Palace Theatre, Jodi has helped to support numerous organizations locally including the Stamford Partnership, Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, March of Dimes Fairfield County Division, ARI of Connecticut, Stamford Chamber of Commerce, DSSD, Stamford Citizen of the Year, Mill River Park Collaborative, Domus, Ferguson Library, among many others.
