INTRODUCTION
We take your right to privacy seriously, and want you to feel comfortable using our website. This Privacy Policy deals with personally identifiable information (referred to as "Data" below) that may be collected by us on our site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to other entities that we do not own or control or persons that are not our employees, agents or within our control.

CONTACT INFORMATION
Your name, username, email address, mailing address, billing address and phone number will be collected and stored in your Customer Record when you place an order. Your Customer Record is accessible to you online with an active username and password by clicking the “My Account” button. Orders include, but are not limited to: purchasing tickets, a Gift Card, or a Palace Theatre Membership; registering to attend or participate in an event or program; making an Individual or Corporate donation, and more.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
Credit card numbers are stored whenever an order with a balance due is paid via credit card. Stored credit card numbers are encrypted. If a customer chooses to save a credit card for future use, either through self-selection online, or directs a Box Office Staff Member to save the credit card in a Customer Record, that credit card is made available for the customer and/or Palace Theatre Box Office to use for future orders without the need to reenter it to place an order. Stored and encrypted credit card information connected to Customer Records also allows a customer to be refunded, in the rare occasion that refunds are issued, without requiring the Box Office Staff to contact the customer directly to request credit card information.

TRACKED INFORMATION
Information about you and your orders are tracked in your Customer Record. Tracked information associated with your Customer Record includes, but is not limited to: your orders, event attendance, correspondence interaction, donation history, Membership benefits, Gift Card balances, and more. Your real name or other personally identifiable information and, as a result, may appear on this site. Like many websites, we may also automatically receive general information that is contained in our server log files such as your IP address and cookie information. Information about how advertising may be served on this site (if at all) is set forth below.

THIRD PARTIES
Customer Record information is not sold or rented to third parties. Customer Record information may be shared with thirty party service providers contracted by the Palace Theatre to help deliver goods and services you order or provide information about Palace Theatre goods and services.

DATA USE
We may use Data to customize and improve your user experience on this site. We will make efforts so that your Data will not be provided to third parties unless (i) provided for otherwise in this Privacy Policy; (ii) we obtain your consent, such as when you choose to opt-in or opt-out to the sharing of Data; (iii) a service provided on our site requires the interaction with or is provided by a third party, by way of example an Application Service Provider; (iv) pursuant to legal process or law enforcement; (v) we find that your use of this site violates our this Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, other usage guidelines or is deemed reasonably necessary by us to protect our legal rights and/or property; or (vi) this site is purchased by a third party whereby that third party will be able to use the Data in the same manner as we can as set forth in this Privacy Policy. In the event that you choose to use links that appear on our site to visit other web sites, you are advised to read the privacy policies that appear on those sites.

COOKIES
Like many web sites, we may set and use cookies to enhance your user experience, such as retaining your personal settings. Advertisements may appear on our web site and, if so, may set and access cookies on your computer and is subject to the privacy policy of those parties providing the advertisement. However, the companies serving the advertising do not have access to our cookies. These companies usually use non-personally identifiable or anonymous codes to obtain information about your visits to our site.

EDITING OR DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We provide you with the ability to edit the information in your user account, “My Account”, that you provided to us during registration by using your personal page configuration area. You may request deletion of your user account by contacting the Box Office at 203-325-4466 or BoxOffice@palacestamford.org. Content or other data that you may have provided to us, and that is not contained within your user account, may continue to remain on our site at our discretion even though your user account is deleted.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES
The Palace Theatre reserves the right to modify, alter, delete and update these policies at any time we see fit. Such alterations do not nullify our rights if infringements or breaches occurred under a previous version of these conditions. We will notify you of substantial changes to this Privacy Policy either by posting a prominent announcement on our site and/or by sending a message to the e-mail address you have provided to us that is contained within your user settings.

NO GUARANTEES
While this Privacy Policy states our standards for maintenance of Data and we will make efforts to meet them, we are not in a position to guarantee these standards. There may be factors beyond our control that may result in disclosure of Data. As a consequence, we disclaim any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of Data.

REDEMPTION OF FREE PRODUCT AND COUPON OFFERS
From time to time, Palace Theatre offers its clients special offers and discount codes to be used in conjunction with this website. These offers are frequently disseminated via this website and through email to those who have registered for our email database. They are sometimes posted on our home page (www.PalaceStamford.org) or announced via other means of communication in conjunction with the promotion of the Palace Theatre product collection, including radio and TV broadcasts, internet forums and various online websites. We encourage our clients to redeem these special offers, but we respectfully ask that you not exploit them. Palace Theatre, at our sole discretion, will determine if all purchasing criteria has been met to qualify for stated discount or free product. If you successfully circumvent the software safeguards of this website in order to receive several free products with your order, then we will (at our sole discretion) remove any extraneous free product from your order or cancel the order in its entirety. You will be informed of any order changes via the phone number or email address listed with your order.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This site is provided by Palace Theatre on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Palace Theatre makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, as to the operation of the site or the content contained therein. You expressly agree that your use of www.PalaceStamford.org is at your own risk. Palace Theatre cannot warrant that this site, our servers, or email communications affiliated with the use of this website, are free from viruses. Palace Theatre will not be responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from use of this website, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

APPLICABLE LAW
By visiting www.PalaceStamford.org, you agree that the laws of the state of CT, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Palace Theatre.
 

EU-U.S. PRIVACY SHEILD AND SWISS-U.S PRIVACY SHIELD
We comply with and are committed to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union Member countries and Switzerland.

Stamford Center for The Arts- The Palace Theatre has certified that this Site adheres to the Privacy Shield privacy principles of Notice; Choice; Accountability for Onward Transfer; Security; Data Integration and Purpose Limitation; Access; Recourse, and Enforcement and Liability; and to the Privacy Shield’s related supplemental principles.

In certain cases, we may remain liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if we transfer your personally identifiable information to third-party processors of that data who then process that data in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles. We will not, however, retain such liability if we can prove that we are not responsible for the act or omission in question that is inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles.

In certain cases, our use of your personally identifiable unformation may be subject to investigation and enforcement under the U.S Federal Trade Commission or another U.S statutory body, and/or you may be able to invoke binding arbitration to assert your rights.
