We miss you and hope you and your loved ones have remained safe and sound during our current reality. We are delighted and encouraged by the CDC’s recently updated COVID-19 guidelines! All of us at The Palace look forward to reuniting face to face and celebrating live arts in our community very soon!
The severe economic downturn caused by the COVID crisis has affected everyone. Many 501c (3) charities nationwide are struggling to raise money and remain afloat – and The Palace Theatre is no different. As a non-profit, we rely on personal and corporate donations, sponsorships, and grants to uphold our mission to Entertain, Enrich, and Educate the diverse population of the region and, in effect, help the economic vitality of Fairfield County.
Planning for our largest fundraiser, The Palace Theatre Annual Gala, would normally be in full swing at this time of year --This event alone historically raises over $200,000 for our mission. Unfortunately, we are unable to host the Gala again this year. Instead, we graciously request that you consider the following donation ticket offer and help us attain our goal of $100,000:
$1,000 - 2 tickets to show of your choice when The Palace reopens
$2,500 - 4 tickets
$5,000 - 8 tickets
$10,000 - 12 tickets
$15,000 - 16 tickets
$20,000 - 22 tickets
$25,000 - 26 tickets
For 93 years and counting, The Palace Theatre has been the foundation of live entertainment here in Fairfield County, with live music, theatre, comedy, magic, dance, and more. While our theatre is currently dark, our staff is actively planning our future diverse line-up and, as well as numerous Arts Education programs and workshops. Not only do our patrons and other non-profit community partners rely on us, but hundreds of under-resourced youth and teens do also too.
Now more than ever, it is crucial to support these long-term benefits of Arts Education and the national focus of changing STEM education to STEAM education. The funds we receive from our Gala are essential to attain these goals. We truly hope we can rely on you as the community relies on us!
The Palace is committed to bringing world-class live entertainment into the next century. We are eager to blow our doors wide open and provide captivating live shows, return to laughing and hearing the sheer thrill of our crowds, seeing smiles on local youth as they develop personal skills, and of course, greeting our patrons who have generously supported us – all in person soon.
