We miss you and we hope you and your loved ones have continued to remain safe and sound. While ever-changing CT mandates certainly presents its challenges, we are encouraged by the amazing progress the scientific community has made toward managing COVID-19 and we believe we are closer to the day when we can return to complete business as usual!
The Palace Theatre Annual Gala, would normally be in full swing at this time of year. This event alone raises over $200,000 for our Mission. Unfortunately, we made the difficult decision to forgo an in-person Gala again this year. Instead, we graciously request that you consider joining our “Circle of Friends” Corporate or Individual Membership so we can surpass our fundraising goal of $100,000 this year!
Director’s Circle -$10,000
Leadership Circle -$15,000
President’s Circle -$25,000+
As a non-profit, we rely on personal and corporate donations, sponsorships, and grants to uphold our mission to Entertain, Enrich, and Educate the diverse population of the region and, in effect, help the economic vitality of Fairfield County.
For 94 years and counting, The Palace Theatre has been the foundation of live entertainment here in Fairfield County, with live music, theatre, comedy, magic, dance, and more. Our staff is actively planning our future diverse line-up and to meet the needs of our multi-cultural community. The Palace Arts Education Program moves full speed ahead busily expanding numerous Arts Education programs and workshops. Not only do our patrons and other non-profit community partners rely on us, hundreds of under-resourced youth and teens do too.
We offer educational opportunities to thousands of underserved youth each year through outreach programs, live performances and intensives, as well as training in music, dance, theatre, and writing. These opportunities have a long-term impact – and many children who gain self-awareness, increased confidence, and experience positive teamwork are more likely to apply these learned skills to their lives.
Now more than ever, it is crucial to support these long-term benefits of Arts Education and the national focus of changing STEM education to STEAM education. The funds we receive from our Gala are essential to attain these goals. We truly hope we can depend on you as the community relies on us!
The Palace is committed to bringing world-class live entertainment into the next century. We are eager to blow our doors wide open and continue to provide captivating live shows, return to laughing and hearing the sheer thrill of our crowds, seeing smiles on local youth as they develop personal skills, and of course greeting our all our patrons who have generously supported us.
