GALA 2020

Due to these unprecedented times The Palace Theatre and Board of Directors made the very difficult decision to cancel our Gala 2020 featuring Patti LaBelle. As you know this is our number one Annual Fundraiser and unfortunately this Gala cancellation greatly affects our Mission.

As you are aware we are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and rely solely on our donors, memberships, and corporate sponsors to assist us expand and enhance our programs and services. We have been the bedrock of live entertainment for over 93 years and we provide our backyard community with live music, theatre, comedy, magic, dance, and more.  Now, with such economic uncertainty we face even larger challenges. While our Theatre is dark our staff remains busy planning our future line-up and our Arts Education programs and workshops. Not only do our patrons and other not- for-profit community partners, rely on us, but hundreds of underserved youth and teens.

We cannot close our doors to these underserved youth who participate in our arts education via outreach programs, attending in-school-time performances and intensives at The Palace, and training in music, dance, theatre, and writing. Our Arts Education Programs and Workshops have a long-term impact on these youth and teens. Many children who gain self-awareness, increased confidence, and experience positive teamwork are more likely to apply these learned skills to their lives. We must continue to provide educational opportunities and continue to bring world-class live entertainment to our patrons.

We ask that you kindly consider turning all or part of your ticket refund into a Palace Theatre Gift Card or a tax deductible donation. We need your help more than ever due to the loss of Gala income.

I hope you decide to enable us with a generous contribution so that we can do what was intended and provide world-class live entertainment and vital Arts Education programs and workshops to our underserved youth and teens in our own community.

Thank you for considering us during this difficult time.
